Born in Dallas Texas in 1992, Rory Ellis showed an interest in music at a very early age. Performing for the first time at his kindergarten talent show, singing a duet of Tim McGraw's "I Like It, I love It" with his older brother Devin. On his 12th birthday, Rory received his first guitar and immediately began writing full-length songs as if he'd been doing it for years.

In 2011, at the age of 18, Rory took his passion for music and his years of gigging and touring experience and enlisted in the United States Army Band. After completing Basic Training at Ft. Jackson, SC and the Army School of Music in Norfolk, VA, Rory was stationed at Ft. Stewart, GA as a guitarist and vocalist for the 3rd Infantry Division Band. In typical fashion, Rory brought forth his strengths and began performing his original music all over the coastal Georgia area.

In 2013 Rory deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom where he performed all over Regional Command South. His mission was to provide musical entertainment and boost the moral of service members from all branches of our military as well as Department of Defense civilians and our allied forces in Australia, Great Britain, Germany, France, Romania, The Netherlands, Afghanistan and many more.

In April of 2015, after four years of selfless service to our Country, Rory honorably discharged from the United States Army in pursuit of his life long dream to be an international music star. Being a part of the Army Band, Rory has been fortunate enough to be able to perform his original music and touch the lives of thousands of people worldwide. It is this accomplishment that motivates him to continue writing and performing any chance he gets, in hopes that one day his dreams will come true.
