Poems for Jamiro is an indie / electro pop duo from Hamburg, Germany. Starting as an acoustic act with piano and violin, their set developed by additional synthesizers and electronic loops. With their two-set harmonic melodies, Nina and Laila create a spherical, full live sound that makes you forget there’s only two people on stage. Their songs will tell you stories about forgotten places, secret hopes, dreams and the comfort of solitude. In the past years, Poems for Jamiro played numerous shows around Europe, taking them as far as Iceland, Sweden, Great Britain and France. After releasing an EP and their debut album „Homeward Bound“ in 2014, their second album HUMAN was released in October 2018.
