Lead guitarist and vocalist of Milo in the Doldrums and Bachelor Boys Band of International Musicians League, Hays Dowdy is a musician from Arlington, Virginia currently living in Silver Spring, MD. “Born into a family of musicians, I’ve been playing guitar since I was 11 years old. My style incorporates a blend of 60s rock, funk and contemporary pop music that I like to blend with different genres, with an emphasis on feel and tone. I write and record original music at home, as well as play in two bands in the DC/MD/PA/VA area. When I pick up a guitar, I find myself creating music that emulates what a contemporary Hendrix or Beatle would produce with an instrument in their hands today.”
